This COZY, cute, historic, Spring House is minutes away from Terrain at Styers Wedding Venue. (If you are a bride, you'll want to get ready here!) It is minutes from World Renowned Longwood Gardens, Chadds Ford Village, (the Conservancy now offers over 5 miles of hiking/walking trails) Minutes from Andrew Wyeth Home, Brandywine River Museum, Brandywine Battlefield, Wineries, 5-star restaurants, shopping, AND it sits on the same property as the #1 Antique Shop in Chester County.
The space
Please read! So much to say about this historic space! Pull up to the private drive with room for 3+ cars. In the summer months relax on the deck or swing on the tire swing. Inside the eat-in kitchen has everything you need to prep a meal. The living room has a comfy sofa & chair, a chest full of games ready to be put to use. Netflix is available as well. The bathroom features a tub ready for you to soak it all in and relax! Two bedrooms are on the first floor and the third is a loft-style space. It will be hard to choose!
****Please note you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the loft. The main is right off the living room. The second bedroom is attached to the main bedroom and the bathroom. This is a small cottage. If you want bedrooms that are far away from each other this place is not for you. There are window units, not central air.****
Cool Fact: The Painter family built this house in the late 1700's. It used to sit on a horse farm. The William Painter farm is nearby and used to be a stop on the Underground Railroad.

This house sits off of route one which may be noisy doing the rush hour traffic. It is not a secluded space.
There are two window ac units located on the first floor and lots of air circulation within the house. There is no ac unit in the loft. There are fans provided.
The first bedroom is off the living room. You have to walk through the first bedroom to access the loft. The second bedroom can be accessed by the first bedroom or the bathroom. The bathroom has an entrance through the living room as well.

Summary: This location offers great access to Longwood Gardens and other cute spots in town. This location was super cute and very cozy. The only downsides to this spot was that the bedrooms are all in close proximity and the beds and pillows were firm. The host made sure our stay was welcome and kept good communication with us! I would recommend this location!

Summary: This cozy Spring House Cottage was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my wife. The cottage was quaint, rustic, very comfortable and very easy to find. We were visiting friends nearby and wanted a local hopping off spot to visit the Brandywine River Museum. Our host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. A delightful find !

Summary: Ivana communicates well and promptly. The house is exactly like what the listing said. Cozy, well decorated and comfortable. The outdoor space is wonderful -- we got there late and were welcomed by two cute fawns. It is close to a busy road, so a sound machine is a must. But the outdoor space is isolated and away from the road (hence, the deer visits). Also, note that going behind the antique shop is a safer route when leaving the rental house. They have a pack-n-play and high chair. Beds are comfortable. We will definitely book this again next time we visit family.

Summary: We were a mom with 2 grown sons in town for a family event. The cottage is just as described and wonderfully decorated and appointed. We felt right at home for our 2 nights there. Our host Ivana was helpful throughout our stay and beyond when I thought I'd left my jewelry case there (didn't). Great location and just far enough off the main street. Just a wonderful place to stay.
